The Four Princes of Nature are cursed with the power over life and death, but one being was never meant to carry both. As the princes succumb to the darkness flowing through their veins, the kingdoms reflect their changing hearts. A flicker of hope still remains, but only the Princesses of Disaster can reverse the curse and restore balance to the forces of nature.
Each book follows a different prince and can be read as a standalone. Each book does build off the previous one and end with an HEA.
Ember stopped believing in fairy tales a long time ago. It's hard to believe in such things as royalty or knights in shining armor when you're busy trying to survive your abusive father and save the family legacy. But some things are just too much for one person to handle. When things escalate to dangerous levels , Ember decides to fight for her life and escape, but she doesn't expect to end up in another world where princes and princesses do exist. Except, they are not like the royalty you know. They are Fae gifted with the power over life-and-death.... and she's one of them.
Thatch is the Prince of Forest, heir to the Forest Kingdom. He should be preparing to take over the throne from the King and Queen of Nature, but instead he is battling an ancient curse given as punishment for a crime his parents won't admit to. Instead of giving life to the forest, the curse twists his power into something deadly. He's meant to protect, but with his power becoming darker with each decade, Thatch has lost hope that he can be cured, and decides the only way to save his kingdom would be to remove himself altogether. It is prophesied that only a Princess of Disaster can balance out the curse, but after trusting the wrong person, Thatch finds it hard to believe that an act of love could reverse centuries of death.
Will a journey to save a kingdom bond and save two souls, or will they succumb to the darkness?
